Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Conference Center Tech to oversee all technical operations and support within the conference center. The role ensures seamless setup, operation, and troubleshooting of IT and facility systems for meetings and events, delivering dependable service every day.

As the on-site technical resource, you will work with clients, presenters, and internal teams, maintaining safety, accessibility, and quality standards while documenting procedures and incident reports accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in conference center, hospitality, or event technology support.
• Proficient with AV systems (projectors, microphones, soundboards), video conferencing platforms, and basic IT troubleshooting.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; strong client service orientation.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and perform setups.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
• Report to work on scheduled days.
• Follow up with Lead for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Execute the setup, operation, and breakdown for meetings and events.
• Serve as the main technical resource and on-site expert for clients, presenters, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all setups meet safety, accessibility, and quality standards.
• Document procedures, event setups, and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Able to read, understand and write set-ups.
• Able to lift and carry equipment, chairs, tables, ect.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and responsiveness at all times.
