Job summary

City and County of San Francisco search for an Onsite Epic Ancillary Apps Manager to lead Epic applications across the SFDPH. You will supervise IS Business Analysts and coordinate with Epic teams to implement and maintain the EHR modules in ambulatory, cardiology, radiology, and lab settings.

The role requires five years in a related IT field and two years leading cross-functional projects, with certification requirements and a strong focus on equity and public health impact.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in digital product management, system administration, information systems development, maintenance and support, software engineering, or information technology project management, including
• Two (2) years of experience leading a major technology product, system, or project involving cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ongoing guidance and supervision of IS Business Analysts.
• Support design, implementation, and optimization of the Epic EHR for SFDPH.
• Collect information from departments, clinicians, health workers, vendors, and customers regarding system development and best practices.
• Translate functional requirements into application build as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse set of clients to establish and maintain good working relations.
