Job summary

County of San Mateo Health is seeking an Electronic Health Record Analyst I/II – Grand Central to support Phase 2 of the Epic implementation, with a primary focus in reporting. The position is located in South San Francisco or San Mateo, CA and is currently hybrid with on-site and remote work depending on business needs.

The ideal candidate will understand acute clinical workflows related to registrations, patient movement, admissions, discharge, and transfer, with Epic EHR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic EHR systems and acute clinical workflows (registrations, patient movement, admissions, discharge, transfer).
• Ability to analyze and document business operations and workflows for EHR needs.
• Coordinate security workgroups; provision user security and access.
• Support end users, troubleshoot issues, and respond to inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document business operations and workflows.
• Meets with department customers to assess EHR requests and detail business needs.
• Coordinate security and provisioning for users; troubleshoot issues during go-lives and upgrades.
• Lead training material development and end-user training.
• Participate in testing, system upgrades, and disaster recovery measures.
