Pace Analytical Services in Lombard, IL, is seeking a Scientist 1 for a full-time, on-site environmental testing role. You will conduct hands-on analysis to ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry (or related field) and the ability to work in a lab with PPE; training will be provided. On-site work in Lombard, IL, with typical daytime hours.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science
• Willingness to receive training and work in a lab environment
• Ability to wear PPE and follow safety protocols

Responsabilidades

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples for contaminants.
• Review and interpret analysis results.
• Document procedures and observations accurately.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
