Job summary

PACE ANALYTICAL SERVICES in Lombard, IL is seeking a Scientist 1 for our environmental testing laboratory. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and involves hands-on analysis with GC, HPLC and ICP to support environmental data integrity.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science, and can work in a lab while using PPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science field.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment and following PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain quality records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
