Job summary

Talis Group’s client, a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Louisville, KY, seeks an Engineering Recruiter to join their HR team and drive the sourcing and hiring of top engineering talent for Louisville operations. The role emphasizes collaboration with hiring managers, candidate experience, and a structured recruiting process.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in recruiting, strong technical understanding, and the ability to handle 20+ requisitions simultaneously in a high-volume

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments.
• Ability to understand technical positions and related qualifications across electrical, mechanical, and design engineering.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume requisition load (20+ roles simultaneously).
• Strong sourcing skills and ability to identify passive candidates.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate type for each opening.
• Source qualified candidates for roles including Project Engineers, Technical Leads, Project Managers, and related engineering positions.
• Utilize ATS, LinkedIn, and Indeed, with AI-assisted candidate searches.
• Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate qualifications and fit.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers through the ATS for next steps.
• Coordinate a timely, organized candidate experience throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and pipeline across requisitions.
• Build relationships with engineering professionals and relevant organizations.
• Track recruiting activity and report progress and outcomes.
