Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a hands-on Engineering Lab Manager for our Chippewa Falls, WI labs. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of IT hardware development labs, with responsibilities spanning capacity planning, asset tracking, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, IT, and facilities teams.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years in lab or data-center environments, with strong knowledge of lab safety,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; 5+ years lab/engineering experience.
Experience with lab safety, equipment calibration, and product testing.
Able to coordinate across electrical, mechanical, thermal, and facilities teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary lab operations contact across multiple teams.
Ensure lab processes are documented for repeatable execution.
Monitor power, cooling, cable routing, and safety in labs.
Develop capacity plans aligned to roadmaps and validation workloads.
Own asset tracking and communicate status to leadership.
