Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an AI Test and Lab Engineer for onsite work in Chippewa Falls, WI. The role focuses on planning and implementing testing for standard and special devices, leading test teams, and collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver reliable test solutions.

The position requires a 4–6 year background in thermal/power cooling tech or equivalent, with strong analytical skills and effective communication. Occasional travel to supplier sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 4-6 years' experience in thermal, power cooling, technology.
• Using testing tools and software packages to automate test processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to effectively communicate testing plans, proposals, and results at management levels.

Responsibilities

• Designs engineering solutions to test and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements.
• Develops and implements test plans, schedules, and requirements for all portions of new and existing designs; builds and operates test tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and apparatuses.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced testing and development partners regarding testing status, project progress, test results, and issue resolution.
• Leads a project team of other test engineers and internal and outsourced testing partners to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high-quality test solutions for moderately complex products.
• Represents the test engineering team for all phases of larger and more- complex development projects.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
• Willing to travel occasionally (5-10%) to suppliers' sites.
