Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative for a Hamburg, PA facility. The role provides first aid, health guidance, and injury management to associates, working closely with Workplace Health & Safety and operations teams.

You will assess injuries on site, coordinate referrals, support wellness initiatives, and assist with wellness programs while maintaining confidential medical records and ensuring readiness for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current EMT or Paramedic certification, OR Athletic Trainer certification.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certifications if needed.
• Ability to provide first aid and basic emergency medical care in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess occupational injuries and provide first aid.
• Offer health guidance and injury prevention education to associates.
• Refer complex cases to external medical providers as needed.
• Participate in workers' compensation and return‑to‑work planning meetings.
• Attend safety committee meetings and engage with new hires daily.
• Maintain medical records accurately and confidentially.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return‑to‑work programs.
• Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach associates on safe work practices and at‑risk behaviors.
• Maintain a clean medical space and inventory of supplies.
• Support first aid, CPR and AED training for staff.
