Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to support safety operations at a Baltimore site. The role involves administering first aid, guiding occupational and non-occupational health matters, and coordinating with safety leaders. You will refer care to external providers and learn OSHA regulations to protect Associates daily.

The position requires BLS, EMS or Athletic Trainer credentials and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health OR NREMT; OR Athletic Trainer Certification.
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA risk of injury through awareness, education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate and maintain workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with AAs and leadership on the operations floor to coach on at-risk work habits.
• Maintain a clean working environment and ensure medical supply inventory is maintained.
• Participate in training and certifications for first aid, CPR, AED.
