Medcor Inc. is seeking a full-time Onsite Health Technician in DeKalb, IL. Eligible candidates include EMTs, Paramedics, or LPNs; CPR/BLS is required. The role focuses on first aid, injury care, and supporting workplace health in an employer-based clinic. Enjoy a four-day workweek with stable patient care outside of traditional EMS settings.

You will manage clinic operations, perform health screenings, and maintain EMR records while collaborating with HR and safety teams.

Qualifikationen

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification, as applicable.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfortable working independently in an onsite clinic with remote clinical and operational support.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to document care using electronic medical records.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.

Aufgaben

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses following Medcor's care protocols.
• Respond to workplace medical situations and provide appropriate clinical care.
• Support workers' compensation case management and return-to-work programs.
• Coordinate care with outside medical providers when necessary.
• Manage daily onsite clinic operations, including medical supplies and documentation.
• Perform pre-employment and post-offer health screenings as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with Safety and HR teams to promote a safe workplace.
