Job summary

Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction-site clinic in DeKalb, IL. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6am–5pm, with occasional Saturdays.

The role involves patient care, care coordination, and RTW program support in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Candidates must hold EMT or Paramedic licensure and CPR/BLS certification, with the ability to lift 50 lb and operate within a construction setting.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure for EMT or Paramedic is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
• Manage workers’ compensation and Return to Work programs.
• Document care using EMR and other tools.
• Collaborate with medical and operational leadership and outside providers.
