Job summary

Medcor is seeking a full-time Onsite Health Technician (EMT/Paramedic) for a construction-site clinic in DeKalb, IL. The role runs Monday–Friday 6am–5pm with occasional Saturdays, with duties including patient care, case management, RTW program facilitation, and coordination with local providers.

You must have valid licensure, CPR/BLS, and the ability to lift 50 lb. Preference for experience in EMS or critical care and comfort with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Active EMT or Paramedic licensure is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to clients and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries per Medcor protocols.
• Document care using EMR and other tools.
• Collaborate with medical and operational leadership and external providers.
