Job summary

Medcor is seeking an EMT for a PRN Onsite Health Technician role, rotating across multiple Illinois construction-site clinics (Dekalb, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove, Minooka). Hours vary by site, with average shifts from 6:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Pay ranges from $27.50 to $30.00 per hour based on experience. The role involves patient care, workers’ comp case management, RTW facilitation, and collaboration with external providers.

Qualifications

• EMT license valid in Illinois.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lb emergency bag.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work at heights and stairs.
• Outgoing, patient-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to clients and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries per Medcor's MCPs.
• Document care using EMR and other tools.
• Coordinate with medical/operational leadership and client staff.
• Support RTW program facilitation and case management.
