Job summary

OccuMedX Group Inc. is seeking an Onsite Medical Partner (EMT or Paramedic) to deliver acute medical care on construction sites, assess injuries, stabilize workers, and coordinate transport to medical facilities as needed.

The role includes conducting safety walks, providing CPR and first aid training, overseeing the onsite wellness program, maintaining medical equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current State or National EMT/Paramedic certification.
• Active BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a pre-hospital or clinical environment preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification - Must obtain within first 30 days of employment (Employer Provided).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and clients at all levels.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift and move more than 50 pounds.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care on construction sites.
• Assess and stabilize injured or ill workers; coordinate transport to a medical facility.
• Maintain documentation of medical assessments and treatments.
• Conduct safety walks and collaborate with the project team to implement preventive measures.
• Provide CPR, first aid training, and injury prevention education.
• Oversee the workplace wellness program, including health screenings and education.
• Manage client's onsite drugs of abuse program.
• Ensure availability and proper function of medical equipment and supplies; perform inventory checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the onsite clinic and office; ensure regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners and integrate with the client project team.
