Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace site in Melbourne, FL is hiring an onsite test/production technician. You will follow blueprints and test procedures, operate SAP systems, and document results for manufactured electronics.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience; AS in Electronics Technology is preferred. Expect a 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9/80 schedule, with comprehensive benefits and FAA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; technical education in related discipline with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• AS in Electronics Technology preferred.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations.
• RF, Digital, Analog Circuit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerances are met.
• Performs functional testing per part-specific procedures.
• Monitors tests, records data, and services test equipment as required.
• Documents acceptance or failure results.
• Uses hand/machine tools and electrical measurement devices correctly.
• Loads and unloads electronic equipment in test beds.
• Complies with quality systems and ACE continuous improvement.
• Meets deadlines and contributes to team goals.
• Trains others for tasks as needed.
