Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Electronics Technician to follow blueprints, perform functional tests, and document results for manufactured electronic equipment. This is an onsite role in a facility that operates on 3:30pm–1:00am shifts, with FAA safety context and a comprehensive benefits program.

You will use DMMs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and spectrum analyzers to validate equipment, load test beds, and participate in quality improvements.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electronics/assembly.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet product specs and tolerances.
• Perform functional testing and document results per test procedures.
• Operate and load/unload electronic equipment in test beds; use test equipment.
• Document acceptance or failure results; adhere to quality systems (ACE).
• Train others for technical tasks when needed; interface with teams to resolve issues.
