Job summary

RTX is seeking an Onsite Technician in Melbourne, FL to support avionics and production testing. You will follow blueprints and test procedures, monitor test results, and document outcomes while coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure schedules and quality requirements are met.

The role offers comprehensive benefits and requires a U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with basic electronics/technical education.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations as required.

Responsibilities

• Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Performs functional testing per part-specific pre-established test procedure.
• Monitors tests, records data, and services test equipment as required.
• Documents acceptance or failure results.
• Uses basic hand/machine tools and electronic testing equipment.
• Complies with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.
• Interacts with other functional groups to resolve problems related to business issues.
