Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join the Midwest team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will support senior project managers, help manage schedules, and coordinate changes and budgets for electrical construction projects.

You will work closely with project staff, coordinate with field teams and owners, and help ensure quality, safety, and timely project delivery in a dynamic onsite environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in electrical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software: Microsoft 365, Accubid, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Provide close support for the senior PMs and help ensure schedule requirements are met.
• Initiate and track change orders; act as liaison between field management and owner for scope changes.
• Assist in creating and enforcing the project budget and Schedule of Values (SOV).
• Oversee Project Engineers with RFIs, submittals, quantity takeoffs, and material tracking.
• Oversee project closeout to ensure documentation is submitted to the owner.
