Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Supervisor Electric Operations to lead planning, direction, and oversight of field construction, maintenance, and emergency work across electric facilities. You will supervise a team, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with multiple internal and external groups.

The role requires strong leadership and electrical knowledge, plus ability to respond to outages 24/7 and participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising teams in a technical setting.
• Strong knowledge of electric transmission/distribution operations.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules in a field environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning, direction, and oversight of field construction and maintenance.
• Lead daily and weekly operating reviews and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Administer safety, training, and human resource processes for staff.
• Ensure projects meet budgets and milestones.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Fleet, Facilities, Engineering and unions.
• Respond to emergent events and participate in on-call rotations.
