Job summary

Consumers Energy, based in Michigan, seeks a Supervisor Electric Operations to lead planning, safety and execution of field activities in the Midland area. You will oversee budget adherence, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Fleet and Engineering to deliver reliable service.

The role requires leadership in a unionized environment, strong problem solving and presentation skills, plus willingness to participate in on-call rotations and storm restoration

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree with related electrical/leadership experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electric transmission/distribution operations and safety standards.
• Demonstrated leadership in a unionized environment and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning and oversight of field construction, maintenance and emergency work.
• Lead daily and weekly operating reviews and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, resources, and on-call rotations for storm events.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company policies.
• Respond to escalated complaints and drive continuous improvement.
