Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN is seeking a hands-on Electrical Construction Leader to oversee crews building critical data-center power infrastructure, including underground duct banks, switchgear, transformers, UPS, and grounding for mission-critical facilities.

This onsite role requires strong leadership, safety focus (NFPA 70E), and proven ability to manage large industrial projects, coordinate contractors, maintain schedules, and ensure adherence to codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading electrical construction teams on large-scale industrial projects or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with underground duct banks, high‑voltage/medium‑voltage systems, switchgear, and power distribution.
• Postsecondary diploma or degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate electrical installations including underground duct banks, conduits, cable pulling, terminations, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, and grounding for SpaceXAI Data Centers.
• Manage and schedule electrical contractors, subcontractors, and on-site crews to hit milestones with safety and quality standards.
• Ensure all contractors adhere to electrical scope and deliver high-integrity power systems for uptime and reliability.
• Monitor progress with logs, red-line drawings, and as-built documentation for power infra.
• Develop and enforce aggressive construction schedules while staying on time and within budget.
• Champion SpaceXAI safety program and foster a zero-incident culture around energized equipment and heavy installations.
• Supervise foremen and crews to maintain collaboration and accountability in a high-stakes environment.
• Proactively resolve on-site challenges with a focus on reliability and code compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with local regs, electrical codes, and SpaceXAI standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports and risk updates to senior leadership.
