Job summary

Alfa Laval in Greenwood, IN seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) lead to implement and maintain safety and environmental programs at the facility. You will ensure compliance with Alfa Laval policies and local regulations, build a proactive EHS culture, and engage regional resources to support timely actions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering and at least 5 years in an EHS role, with preferred certifications (ASP/CSP, OSHA) and ISO program knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in Health, Safety and Environmental role.
• Experience with ASP, CSP, OSHA, ISO programs preferred.
• Process safety management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement EHS guidelines for the facility.
• Lead risk assessments and audits; drive corrective actions.
• Report EHS data in relevant systems; verify workshop data.
• Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval policies and local laws.
• Organize and lead the safety committee and regular meetings.
• Report yearly activities and regulatory changes to management.
• Coordinate mandatory trainings for employees and maintain records.
• Investigate incidents and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee hazardous waste program and regulatory compliance.
