Job summary

Alfa Laval Inc. seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety leader for the Greenwood, Indiana facility. The role ensures policy compliance and a safe workplace, developing an EHS culture and coordinating with regional/global resources.

You will manage risk assessments, audits, training, and incident investigations, driving continuous improvement in safety, regulatory adherence, and performance across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role.
• ASP or CSP preferred.
• Process Safety Management experience preferred.
• Experience training in safety related topics.
• OSHA certifications preferred.
• Hazardous Waste Management experience preferred.
• Safety program management.
• ISO program knowledge and certifications preferred.
• Sustainability management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document all EHS guidelines and instructions for the facility.
• Lead and participate in risk assessments and audits of the facility.
• Report EHS data in the relevant systems and verify data submissions.
• Ensure facility activities comply with Alfa Laval policies and local laws.
• Organize and lead the facility safety committee and hold regular meetings.
• Report to management on annual activities and regulatory changes.
• Identify improvement ideas to enhance health, safety and environmental impact.
• Maintain training records and ensure required trainings are completed.
• Collaborate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
