Job summary

Alphagary, an Orbia business, seeks a seasoned EHS Leader to develop, implement, and maintain safety, health and environmental programs across our manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and group guidelines.

You will drive ISO 45001/ISRS registration, lead risk assessments, deliver training, manage emergency response plans, maintain records, and report EHS metrics to management while advancing a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing EHS or industrial roles with strong regulatory knowledge.
• 4+ years in a leading advisory EHS role is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental management.
• Experience with data management and EHS reporting tools is desirable.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and internal safety policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to workplace incidents and conduct root-cause investigations with preventive measures.
• Deliver safety training for employees at all levels.
• Ensure environmental permit compliance and manage environmental management systems.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Maintain accurate records related to safety incidents, training, inspections, and compliance.
• Communicate safety and environmental performance to management; report on EHS metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance safety culture and sustainability.

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
