Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support the EHS Manager by administering the floor-level EHS program, serving as the primary interface with operations, and ensuring EHS goals are clearly communicated across shifts.

You will conduct daily shop walkthroughs, drive hazard identification, develop JSAs with supervisors, stay current on OSHA CFR 1910, perform risk assessments, investigate incidents, and help prepare EHS reports and trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of OSHA 511 Training or equivalent.
• Ability to attend more specialized training as recommended by EHS Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple TAS facilities within the Houston area and address site needs.
• Collaborate with production leadership across shifts and sites.
• Conduct daily shop walkthroughs.
• Promote hazard identification and mitigation through Behavior Based Safety programs.
• Develop effective Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) with Supervisors.
• Stay current on OSHA standards and advise updates to the TAS EHS Program.
• Perform periodic EHS risk assessments, safety inspections and audits, and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate and document work-related accidents, incidents, and near misses and ensure timely corrective measures.
• Conduct safety trainings and meetings.
• Assist in incident management and EHS reporting.
