Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead safety on the shop floor, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a safe, healthy workplace across all departments. You will train employees, conduct risk assessments, manage OSHA logs, and mentor management on safe work practices while supporting environmental programs.

The role offers a competitive salary ($80,000-$95,000) and a comprehensive benefits package, with a 1st shift and rotating on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Safety/Environment required
• 3+ years EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA laws and ISO 14001/45001

Responsibilities

• Guide shop floor staff and promote a safe, healthy workplace.
• Implement safety plans based on audit results to meet regulations.
• Train employees in environment, health and safety practices.
• Identify hazards and develop safe work procedures.
• Deliver safety training and provide expert guidance on topics.
