Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental in the South San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Consultant to assess hazards, conduct inspections, and support client compliance across higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors.

This onsite role partners with a regional EHS Manager to deliver safety trainings, incident investigations, and policy development, with opportunities for professional growth and industry certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an EHS capacity.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Detail orientation.
• Problem solver with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Possess valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Measure occupational and environmental hazards using calibrated equipment and samples per procedure.
• Inspect machinery and equipment, including lifting devices, guards, and scaffolding.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and evaluate PPE use per regulations.
• Identify hazards and help implement control measures, such as ventilation changes.
• Assist in investigating accidents and recommending remedial action.
• Communicate safety issues with client personnel and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct routine EHS trainings such as new employee orientation and hazard communication.
• Write reports including accident reports and OSHA recordkeeping forms.
• Assist in developing safety systems, policies, and manuals.
