Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to work on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and test systems to ensure cyber readiness. Requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD-focused experience.

Preferred CASP/Security+ or CISSP, a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, and experience with Aegis/SSDS. This role emphasizes security engineering and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering experience.
• Five years of general security engineering experience.
• Experience on Navy afloat/tactical combat systems (Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt).
• IAT Level II or III certification.
• Clear written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system requirements and specifications to meet DoD security policies.
• Perform vulnerability testing using ACAS and other IA tools.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments for known vulnerabilities.
• Lead ISSO activities for information systems.
