Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to work on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, conduct continuous monitoring, and test systems to ensure security of cutting-edge combat systems.

The role requires DoD cybersecurity expertise, IAT II/III certifications, and Navy system experience, with funding anticipated in 2026. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $156,000 annually in USD.

Qualifications

• 2 years of program-specific security engineering or 5 years general security engineering experience.
• Experience on Navy afloat tactical systems (Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt) and DoD 8570 IAT II/III certification.
• Strong written and oral communication of security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word/Excel/Visio.
• Plan, execute and document vulnerability testing using ACAS and similar IA tools.
• Lead ISSO activities and develop IAVM plans for combat systems.
