SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst for 100% on-site work at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on RMF A&A, continuous monitoring, and testing to secure DoD combat systems.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Preferred candidates hold CASP/Security+ or CISSP, with a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $156,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five years general security engineering.
• Two of five years on Combat Weapons Systems (Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt) and IAT II/III per DoD 8570.
• Understand DoD cybersecurity policies for land-based and afloat/tactical systems; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity A&A artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Office tools.
• Plan and execute risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations to systems.
• Lead ISSO duties for security matters related to information systems.
• Conduct vulnerability testing using ACAS and other IA tools.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policies, and guidance for combat systems.
