Job summary

SAIC in Bedford, IN is seeking a Drafter/CAD Operator to support a new DoD contract. You will create and update detailed drawings and Technical Data Packages, using Solid Edge, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer.

You will work with engineers, technicians and customers to capture design requirements, ensure compliance with standards, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with 3D parametric CAD software.
• Experience with ISO procedures and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed drawings using Solid Edge CAD software.
• Develop and update Technical Data Packages per DoD standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and customers to capture design intent.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and procedures.
• Support project milestones and program schedules.
