SAIC in Crane, IN seeks a CAD Drafter to produce and update technical drawings using Solid Edge. You will support a defense team, interact with engineers and technicians, and help ensure accuracy of first article documentation.

Requires an AS/BS in related field or HS diploma with experience; knowledge of ASME-Y14.100 and MIL-STD; ability to obtain DoD clearance; strong communication and teamwork.

Qualificações

• AS/BS degree in a related field or HS diploma with 3+ years related experience.
• Experience with Solid Edge preferred; 3D CAD software required.
• Hands-on mechanical/electro-mechanical knowledge and manufacturing process understanding.
• Detail oriented with ability to communicate complex ideas and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Creates and modifies detailed drawings using Solid Edge CAD Software.
• Collaborates with customers, engineers, technicians and other CAD operators to capture design.
• Works independently or in a team to implement design/documentation changes.
• Uses calipers, gauges, tape measures and other tools for design verification and first article pieces.
