Job summary

STAT Informatic Solutions in Johnson City, TN, is hiring a Document Processing Specialist to manage and process records with accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance. This onsite role offers a $15/hour pay rate and a full-time schedule with Tue–Sat 7:00am–3:30pm.

You'll review documents, prepare them for scanning, perform high-quality imaging, index records, and help train new teammates while maintaining daily production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
• Knowledge of information governance & medical recordkeeping regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and receive documents as applicable.
• Prepare documents for scanning per guidelines.
• Scan documents with high image quality and correct batch counts.
• Verify and index documents to release them into workflow.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and clients.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Help train new team members.
• Monitor processing queues to ensure workflow continuity.
• Support quality control and daily reporting.
• Follow company policies and participate in meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
