Job summary

Ruan is seeking a dispatcher/operations professional for a full-time onsite role in Yuma, AZ. You will coordinate timely movement of customer products, assign workload to drivers, monitor progress, and ensure DOT compliance using dispatch systems.

Responsibilities include scheduling drivers, maintaining service levels, preventing DOT violations, documenting activities, and communicating with customers to resolve issues while promoting safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years in Transportation, dispatching, or related roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication; knowledge of DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely pickup and delivery of orders while ensuring efficient use of drivers and equipment.
• Direct and schedule drivers; assign work to ensure on-time movement and monitor performance.
• Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues; communicate with customers and management.
• Monitor drivers' hours of service to prevent DOT violations.
• Communicate with customers regularly regarding issues impacting service expectations.
• Prepare data and paperwork; update driver and dispatch information in real time.
• Monitor and promote safety in all areas of dispatch.
