Responsibilities

• Timely pickup and delivery of customer orders; ensure efficient driver/equipment utilization.
• Direct and schedule drivers; issue assignments to ensure on-time movement; monitor activity.
• Identify and resolve daily service/scheduling issues; escalate to management; maintain customer communications.
• Monitor drivers’ hours of service to avoid DOT violations.
• Communicate regularly with customers about issues affecting service.
• Update driver/dispatch data in dispatch system in real-time; prepare paperwork.
• Monitor and promote safety in all areas of dispatch.
