Job summary

You will coordinate the movement of customer product, assign workload to drivers, and ensure DOT compliance and safe operations. Responsibilities include scheduling drivers, resolving service issues, monitoring hours of service, maintaining customer communications, and updating dispatch

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely pickup and delivery of customer orders within assigned area, ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Direct and schedule drivers; notify work assignments to maximize on-time movement and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues; escalate to management as needed.
• Monitor drivers hours of service to prevent DOT violations.
• Communicate regularly with customers about issues impacting service.
• Prepare and process data and paperwork; update dispatch information in real time.
• Promote safety in all dispatch activities.
