Job summary

Ruan is seeking a dispatch/operations professional to coordinate timely pickup and delivery of customer orders from St. Joseph, MO. The role ensures efficient utilization of drivers and equipment while adhering to DOT rules and company procedures.

Responsibilities include directing drivers, monitoring service levels, and maintaining accurate data in dispatch systems. Requires 1–2 years in transportation or related roles and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–2 years in Transportation, dispatching, terminal assistant, customer service or related roles.
• Knowledge: DOT rules and regulations.
• Proficiency: Microsoft Office and dispatch systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely pickup and delivery of customer orders within assigned area.
• Direct and schedule drivers' work; monitor driver activities.
• Resolve daily service and scheduling issues and communicate with customers.
• Monitor hours of service to prevent DOT violations.
• Maintain data in dispatch systems and prepare driver activity reports.
