Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in the United States is seeking a Director of Patient Access to oversee on-site patient access teams across facilities in the market. You will drive front-end revenue cycle performance, admissions, and registration accuracy, with regular regional travel.

Lead hiring, training, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with hospital leaders to improve patient experience, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years of Patient Access experience in a hospital or large health system.
• Demonstrated experience leading front-end revenue cycle functions.
• CRCR certification required within first 9 months of hire (Ensemble supported)

Responsibilities

• Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for on-site Patient Access staff within a specific hospital or market.
• Organizes functions through clear accountabilities and delegation, promoting collaboration across sites.
• Directs hiring and training for leadership and patient access staff.
• Manages the budget and resources for the department.
• Promotes operational efficiency and improved patient experience within regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborates with operational leaders to ensure successful revenue cycle processes.
• Maintains proactive KPI-driven performance management and reporting.
• Establishes a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.
