Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Level II Desktop Technician to provide onsite support in Florence, KY. You will resolve complex hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, and printers, while coordinating with other teams for problem resolution and change management.

The role requires solid knowledge of Windows, networking basics, and customer-facing communication. Associates degree preferred, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under SLA guidance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Experience in desktop and/or infrastructure support.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and customers.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
• Performs service, repair and installation of computer products including PCs, laptops, printers and related devices.
• Manages user accounts, permissions, and password resets in various applications.
• Documents issues and updates in ticketing systems to track progress.
• Communicates with customers at all levels and provides status updates per SLA.
• Escalates complex problems to appropriate support groups when needed.
• Follows SOPs and collaborates with colleagues across the organization.
