Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Level 2 Desktop Technician to join our client’s onsite team in Laconia, NH. You will act as the primary local resource for end-user support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and site infrastructure, delivering VIP support as needed.

You will deploy and image devices, handle hardware upgrades, asset lifecycle management, and ensure security/compliance per client standards while collaborating with remote teams on maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience providing desktop/deskside/end-user support.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing platforms.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
Experience supporting printers, scanners, and mobile technologies.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite deskside support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot Windows OS, applications, and peripherals.
Deliver Microsoft 365 and productivity app support.
Assist users with account access, device setup, and general IT support.
Provide VIP/executive-level technical support as required.
Image, configure, deploy, and refresh desktops and devices.
Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle records.
Support site tech and AV equipment as needed.
