Job summary

STI is seeking an onsite Desktop Support professional for the Salem, VA area. The role requires local candidates and daily onsite work from 8:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, in a long-term engagement.

The candidate will support Windows, SharePoint, MS Office/365, MS Teams, and related desktop devices, with strong customer service and clear communication skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive skill with Microsoft Desktop products including Windows, SharePoint, MS Office, Office 365 and MS Teams.
• Experience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, and wireless devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Experience with help desk request tracking and reporting tools.
• Strong customer service with a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Onsite daily support in the Roanoke/Salem area, 8-5, Monday to Friday.
• Provide desktop and user support for Microsoft applications and devices.
