Eis group usa is seeking a solution-focused Desktop Support Technician for onsite work in San Francisco, CA. You will be the first point of contact for employees facing tech issues, delivering hands-on support and ensuring reliable IT systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong problem-solving with excellent communication, capable of diagnosing issues, configuring equipment, and explaining solutions clearly to users. TeamViewer familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in IT/CS or related field is required or strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.
Prior experience as a Desktop Support/IT Help Desk role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
Experience configuring, installing, upgrading, and maintaining computers and equipment.
Familiarity with TeamViewer or other remote-support platforms.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on onsite technical support for employees and IT equipment.
Receive, document, prioritize, and resolve hardware and software requests.
Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, network, and connectivity issues.
Configure and deploy new computers, routers, modems, peripherals, and other IT gear.
Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and business apps.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of IT installations.
Provide onsite and remote technical assistance when required.
