Job summary

Addison Group in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Desktop Support / Help Desk Technician to provide hands-on and remote assistance with Windows, printers, and peripherals. This onsite role combines help desk tasks with field-based desktop support across office and remote locations.

You will install, image, and deploy devices, manage Active Directory, troubleshoot network issues, and support Microsoft 365. Expect an on-call rotation, occasional travel within ~160 miles, and a company vehicle for

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support with an IT-related associate degree or 4+ years with a high school diploma.
• Hands-on Windows OS and desktop hardware experience.
• Experience with AD and user administration, imaging, deployment, and device configuration.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently with escalation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level hardware, software, and connectivity support.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist users with Microsoft applications and account access.
• Image, configure, upgrade, and refresh computers and devices.
• Support Active Directory and basic user administration.
• Diagnose LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.
• Handle help desk requests via phone and ticketing systems.
• Travel to field locations for onsite support using company vehicles.
• Maintain documentation of troubleshooting steps and changes.
