Job summary

State of Wisconsin's Bureau of Information Technology Services is seeking a Desktop Support IV to deliver frontline IT support across telecommunications and mobile devices. This onsite role supports staff statewide, with occasional remote work one day per week and a travel component up to 10% for state-wide deployments.

You will deploy, configure, inventory and secure agency-issued devices, provide end-user training, and coordinate with CMDS and broader IT teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Office in a professional setting.
• 2+ years maintaining, updating, and deploying Apple products / iOS.
• 2+ years of Mobile Device Management (Workspace ONE / AirWatch).
• 2+ years in a customer-facing IT role.

Responsibilities

• Support telecommunications and mobile devices used by staff and EHR systems.
• Configure, deploy, and distribute mobile devices to staff across multiple sites.
• Provide technical assistance to users to ensure effective device utilization.
• Assist with device sanitization, inventory tracking, and redeployment planning.
• Provide one-on-one training for new hires and returning staff.
