Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Desktop Technician to build, image, test, and deploy end-user devices for new hires and ongoing refresh cycles.

You will configure laptops/desktops and virtual machines, verify applications and security settings, and track deployments using ServiceNow, working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

This onsite role requires US citizenship or GC holders and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience imaging, configuring, testing, and deploying Windows 11 devices.
• Familiarity with enterprise deployment tools (Intune, Autopilot, SCCM).
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, BitLocker, and endpoint security software.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, reimage, and prepare laptops/desktops and VMs.
• Test device functionality, verify apps, drivers, network access, encryption, cloud storage, and security tools.
• Prepare equipment for new hires and hardware refresh cycles; coordinate large rollouts.
• Track configurations, assignments, asset information, and task updates in ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with asset management, desktop support, engineering, and remote teams.
