Peraton is seeking an experienced Tier II Deskside Technical Support to join our team supporting the Department of Energy (DOE) in Germantown, MD. This onsite role provides deskside help for PCs, printers, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing Windows and Office issues, supporting iPads/iPhones, resolving LAN/WAN connectivity problems, and performing hardware deployments or imaging as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience, or Master's with 3+ years.
• US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DOE clearance.
• Prior Tier 2 or advanced technical support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on PC hardware repair and peripheral support.
• Familiarity with iOS devices and MDM basics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).

Responsabilidades

• Provide deskside support for PC hardware, peripherals, printers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS and Microsoft Office issues.
• Support mobile devices (iPad/iPhone): config, connectivity, apps.
• Diagnose and resolve intermediate to advanced network problems.
• Handle incidents escalated from Tier 1 Service Desk.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with IT staff to identify recurring issues and solutions.
• Maintain a strong customer service focus with end users.
• Assist with hardware deployments, upgrades, and system imaging as needed.
