Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years related experience.
• U.S. Citizen; active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required to start.
• Must have DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CCNA‑Security, SSCP).

Responsibilities

• Analyze escalated Tier II incidents for desktops, laptops, thin clients, peripherals, and printers to determine root cause and resolution path.
• Evaluate workstation configurations against enterprise baseline and STIG requirements; implement approved changes.
• Determine deployment approaches for new workstations, including imaging and data migration; use STIG-compliant images and automated provisioning tools.
• Diagnose desk-side network connectivity issues (wired, Wi‑Fi, VPN, docking, IP config) and route to correct resolver group.
• Coordinate vendor service as the Government's technical liaison for devices; ensure resolutions address customer needs.
• Draft knowledge articles and enable Tier I support; apply secure configuration practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Evaluate hardware lifecycle data and advise on refresh/redeployment/disposition actions.
