Job summary

STI is a Boise-based company seeking a Data Migration Field Support Technician to support data migration to the central M365 tenant and manage hardware deployments. The role is on-site in Boise, ID, with a 6+ month duration and requires fully onsite work at the client site.

The candidate will support end-user computing, printers, and peripherals, while coordinating with IT leadership to ensure timely, effective user assistance across the state.

Qualifications

• Three years of IT support experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience onboarding Microsoft 365 users, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Understand court processes to ensure solutions match user needs.
• Prioritize daily tasks with IT leadership and provide end-user support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Migrate customer data to new equipment.
• Install and maintain software on mobile devices.
• Coordinate equipment shipments and manage surplus equipment.
• Keep inventory records up-to-date.
• Assist with office moves and changes as required.
• Communicate issue status and resolutions to users.
• Escalate issues to technical services when needed.
• Test and validate new hardware and applications with IT staff.
• Attend required meetings.
