Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an experienced onsite security operations lead to manage and optimize day-to-day security across critical data center environments. You will coordinate scheduling, staffing, escalation, and readiness while protecting system uptime and customer trust.

You will serve as the lead onsite resource for incident response, customer escalation support, and continuous improvement of security practices with strong communication and coordination across site teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of onsite security operations and physical security systems across critical data center environments.
• Ability to coordinate day-to-day site execution, scheduling support, staff resourcing needs, escalation support, and operational readiness.
• Ability to provide day-to-day guidance and reinforce standards without formal people management authority.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and coordination skills for site continuity and customer trust.
• Balance hands-on support with lead-level coordination across multiple metros.
• Knowledge of physical security systems, low-voltage cabling, and device-level troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations Execution Support: manage day-to-day onsite security operations per procedures and site requirements.
• Security Systems Support & Maintenance: troubleshoot and maintain readers, cameras, door hardware, and related devices.
• Incident Response, Escalation & Recovery: lead onsite incident response and coordinate recovery actions.
• Compliance, Documentation & Execution Quality: ensure logs, checklists, and docs are accurate and timely.
• Coordination, Customer Support & Site Readiness: align with teams and vendors to sustain operations.
• Leadership, Guidance & Team Support: provide day-to-day guidance and reinforce execution standards.
